Tomson Group VOLTS Video 2017

Video Outreach for Laboratory Teaching in Schools (VOLTS) is an outreach initiative that our group is working to spearhead. Our goal is to build a library of videos that outline the science in different STEM laboratories at UPenn. We hope that these videos will find utility for pre-collegiate science teachers to expose their students to real-life applications of the material covered in their classes, for undergraduates interested in shopping for a lab that they may find interesting, or for a general audience with a limited scientific background. Posted here is the current version of a video that introduces our group's electrostatic activation project at the basic level. We are in the process of creating additional videos, as well as editing and updating the video posted here.
